What is pilot registration and Why pilot registration is required?
With pilot registration process, pilot register their details with the e-Governance of Civil Aviation (eGCA).
It is required because Pilot get unique number/ID, which is required to avail services of DGCA.
Aspirant Pilot Registration Pre-requisites:
The pre-requisites for registering an aspirant pilot are mentioned below:
- Age must be at least 16 years.
- Email Id and mobile number should be valid and not already registered with eGCA.
- Must have atleast one Identity proof.
- Must have atleast one Address proof.
- Must have 10th marksheet.

- Airport Entry Card – Issued by BCAS

here are the easy steps to follow eGCA ID Generation Process.
Step 1
Visit the eGCA website, click on “Sign Up,” and choose “Pilot” as your user type during registration. Then in page 1 New/Exiting User you will get an option “Do you have Medical File Number (PMR No.) allotted by DGCA?*” click No.
Step2
Second page will be open Personal details. Fill the following details correctly. Personal details, Correspondence address and Permanent address.
Step3
Third page will be open Email ID and mobile no verification.. Fill the following details, ID proof details, photo and signature details, 10th mark sheet, address proof, login details, Email id and mobile no. Validation. After all this details, click on receive OTP and insert it in the Enter OTP section. After all this tick declaration and submit your application.
Aspirant Pilot eGCA ID generated in active state. After log in, Applicant will be able to see the list of applicable services in his/her services.
